Lock and Shocks: Week 2

Each week Dan Barber, Fergus Head, Reece Mowlem and Owen Turner pick one team who is a lock and certain to win their game and one team who will cause a shock and win their game despite being the underdog.  Below are this week's picks.

Dan Barber
Lock: PATRIOTS over Saints
There is no way that Brady and Co lose two in a row.  I expect them to bounce back massively against a suspect Saints defence, that looked more than shaky against the Vikings last week.  I also expect Brandin Cooks to have a big game against his former team.
Shock:  EAGLES over Chiefs
The Eagles defence is for real and that front 7 looks monstrous.  Granted, they have lost Ronald Darby.  This'll be a tighter game than most think with the Chiefs coming off that stunning 42-point performance against the Patriots.  I'm calling the Eagles to JUST edge it out.

Fergus Head
Lock: CHIEFS over Eagles
After a mind blowing performance in Week 1 the Chiefs are gonna carry it over to this week with a well oiled offensive performance and stifling defensive one.
Shock: FALCONS over PACKERS
Atlanta beat out a highly touted Packers team who show they were just pretenders in Week 1.  Atlanta will find the gear they had much of last year with Julio bossing a defence who has proven before how unprepared they are to handle such a mutant.

Reece Mowlem
Lock: CARDINALS over Colts
I know David Johnson is missing and I'm also fully aware that Carson Palmer was pretty shocking against the Lions, but no team looked worse in Week 1 than the Colts and I expect that to continue until Andrew Luck is back on the field. With Luck officially ruled out, Arizona will get a comfortable road win and move to 1-1.
Shock: CHARGERS over Dolphins
The majority of NFL offences looked rusty in their season openers and that's something the Dolphins will have to deal with on Sunday as they make their 2017 debut.  On the other side of the ball, the Chargers will learn from their play calling mistakes against the Broncos and get their first win of the season in the StubHub Center. 

Owen Turner
Lock: RAIDERS over Jets
Raiders = Good.  Jets = Bad.  Raiders + Jets = Easy Raiders home win.
Shock: DENVER over Cowboys
I have a feeling the Denver defence is going to strangle the Cowboys offence this week, hitting Dak over and over again.  Also, there's no way the Broncos offence will be as inert as the Giants' when they're playing at Mile High.
